However, I was an active participant in the Civil Rights movement in the 1960's and have since supported every aspect of equal rights. For Mr. Jacobs, speaking as usual with no facts at hand, to suggest that I would be among friends, at a cross-burning, hood-wearing ceremony, is several steps lower than despicable. 7) It was liberals and the hate America blame America liberal media who were complicit in the 9-11-2001 attacks. the 9-11 video that you liberals and the hate and blame American media helped cause yet you are eager for the Club Gitmo pictures
While everything else in this section relates, in one way or the other, to politics, the two quotes above were intended to be personal - very personal. And, they are vile, despicable and incredibly cruel (especially the first one).
1) Mr. Jacobs learned that my son is adopted. In response to an e-mail from my son he decided to comment on that, providing his conclusion in his last sentence, which I have underlined. The fact of the matter is (admittedly the word "fact" and the name "Bruce Jacobs" is a classic example of an oxymoron) that Justin's natural father left town on the day he was born and his natural mother died four weeks after his birth. My ex-wife and I adopted him shortly thereafter and I have raised him, as a single dad, for the last 20 years (Justin is about to turn 34). I could write a dozen pages and not adequately explain how hurtful this was to my son. Yes, he knows exactly what happened but, when someone plants a poisonous seed like this, he couldn't help but ask questions that had been long ago answered.
2) There is nothing "clear" here at all. My son and I have a terrific relationship and Mr. Jacobs has no evidence (nor did he offer any) to suggest otherwise. This was nothing more than a sleazy attempt to create conflict where conflict doesn't exist.
3) HOWEVER I will be tuned in Tuesday and Wednesday when the racist-socialist-American hating-Jew hating-his own family hating-radical goes down to defeat and the beggar-animal liberals riot in the streets....LOL...LOL...LOL. Now that is going to be awesome. 3) Mr. Jacobs is, of course, entitled to his opinion, as wrong as it turned out to be. However, his vitriolic labeling, as indicated by the words and phrases I've underlined, goes way beyond the pale. I should also point out an observation (not mine, although I agree with it) that someone who uses "LOL" once in an e-mail is likely in their 20's. Two times probably represents a teen ager, three times a "tween" and four times a child. Nine times suggests an infant although even someone that young, using nothing more than crayons, would be a better writer than Mr. Jacobs.

5) This would almost be humorous if it weren't so pathetic. Mr. Jacobs' suggestion is that sending an opinion to a newspaper is unconstitutional, thus denying the existence of the First Amendment - the very clause that allows him to have a job.

6) This is not so much onerous as it is plain stupid. It proves one of two things - either Mr. Jacobs can't read, or chooses not to. The airwaves should certainly be a vehicle for vigorous debate but those discussions should begin with a foundation of facts. Mr. Jacobs, undeniably, has an audience but the "dumbing down" of that group does them an enormous disservice.
7) To suggest that liberals were "complicit" in the 9/11 attacks is an abomination. I lost two close friends that day, one of whom was very active in the Liberal Paty in NYC. There are several support groups that meet on each anniversay of the tragedy. I have offered Mr. Jacobs the opportunity to speak in front of one of these assemblages (all expenses paid, and an honorarium to boot) where he could ponticate his theories about who was behind the event that killed their relatives. Mr. Jacobs has declined to respond to the invitation.
8) Interesting don't you think Philip that the racist-radical-socialist-Jew hating-American hating Obama disdains the US Constitution...........How any Jew can vote for someone who clearly has contempt for the Jewish people and country is beyond me..........By the way as I just was reminded doing some research I forgot Obama's support for Infanticide. 8) These represent several e-mails I received from Mr. Jacobs (they are separated by a series of dots ..........) I don't think any commentary is required here since, as Mr. Jacobs has informed me, several times, that he is perfectly content to let his words represent what he thinks. The underlines are mine but I should out that as of a few months ago, in any reference Mr. Jacobs makes regarding the Presidet (his, as well an mine), he only refers to him as "Hussein." As far as his reference to "Jew cards" it's hard to decipher what Mr. Jacobs is trying to say. Perhaps it's something he carries around with him, as proof. After all, considering the way he talks, and the way he writes, people would find it hard to believe that he is of that faith. Even people who are anti-Semetic would have trouble agreeing that someone who is this illiterate could possibly be a member of this group they destest.
9) You are Jewish aren't you Philip? 9) These are less political and far more personal (again, they represent a series of e-mails, separated by dots, with the underlines added by me). The second sentence is about as despicable as were the ones related to my son's natural parents, and the liberal's role in 9/11. I lost several family members in the concentration camps of Nazi Germany. Besides, Mr. Jacobs gives me far too much credit, since I was born in 1942 and didn't leave this country, for the first time, until 25 years later (not counting a trip to the Canadian side of Niagra Falls, when I was 10). I am a subsitute teacher and the only type of "indoctrination" I've done (as Mr. Jacobs suggested) is to tell student to turn off their cell phones and PDA's and to be quiet, As for Mr. Jacobs' comment that he has "accomplished great things," in order to make things easier for him, he was asked to provide only one thing that he has accomplished at all (aside from being the king of hate mongering) and that this one thing didn't have to be great, or even good. Mr. Jacobs declined to respond. To conclude, there is finally one thing he and I agree on and so I hope his prayers are answered. Were he to become me I would have to be put on suicide watch.
